Hobbies & Creating
These groups encourage students to make, create, craft, and participate in other hobbies, such as the Food Adventurers and Culture Club or the Íæż½ã½ã Gardeners.
Beekeeper's Club
Purpose: To provide an academic as well as social organization encouraging knowledge of all aspects of the field of Beekeeping and also serving as a community of interest and activity for its members.
Filmmakers
Purpose: To provide an academic as well as social organization encouraging knowledge of all aspects of the field of film, allowing students to work on necessary skills and make beneficial connections.
Food Adventurers and Culture Club
Purpose: To expose members to the food they would not ordinarily try in the American diet and learn about cultures through food.
Íæż½ã½ã Gardeners
Purpose: To promote sustainability at Íæż½ã½ã through our student garden on campus. To grow our own produce and raise awareness about the importance of local produce to overall environmental sustainability.
Herban League
Purpose: To provide an opportunity for individuals with interests in animal welfare, environmental protection, or plantÂ-based living to partake in a welcoming and inclusive community of likeÂ-minded individuals.
Poli-Scinema Podcast
Purpose: To create and distribute a political science-themed video podcast focused on analyzing films from the modern-day as well as the classics.
Roll with It: A D&D
Purpose: Roll With It" is an organization that aims to deliver the beautiful storytelling, and bonding experiences of Table-Top RPGs to students at Íæż½ã½ã. No experience is needed! This includes playing Dungeons and Dragons at weekly meetings, and other TTRPG's systems!
Sailing Club
Purpose: To promote the sport of sailing within the Íæż½ã½ã community and to compete against other schools in the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association.
Travel Club
Purpose: To make a support group for new and returning students. We want to go on adventures with each other and make new friends along the way, especially on the streets of New Orleans.
