At 77 years old, the New Orleans native brings a wealth of life experience to his writing. His career includes stints in the petroleum industry and telecommunications; he retired from BellSouth as assistant to the president of Louisiana in 2000. Bonis pursued his Ph.D. in human performance and health promotion from the ÍćĹź˝ă˝ă after retirement. He currently teaches exercise science and graduate statistics courses at ÍćĹź˝ă˝ă.
Bonisâ previous works include âThe Fat Old Manâs Guide to Health and Fitnessâ and âCity of Grasshoppers.â
