Student Services
The Íæż½ã½ã Student Government Association maintains many services and resources available to all students at the Íæż½ã½ã. Some of these services may include a nominal fee, but it is only intended to cover the cost of labor and supplies.
Travel Assistance Program
Though the Íæż½ã½ã represents some of the best academic resources you can find anywhere, there may be times that you will have to travel to learn more and add to your overall college experience. This can include traveling to a professional or academic conference in your major or field of study, or travel to a national, regional or state workshop for your student organization. Íæż½ã½ãSGA Travel Assistance provides necessary funds for students to travel to these events on behalf of the Íæż½ã½ã. We want to make sure that you can take part in as many opportunities that you can, and the Íæż½ã½ãSGA Travel Assistance program can get you there. There are specific requirements involved in qualifying, submitting and being approved for travel.
Funding
Íæż½ã½ãSGA can fund students, student organizations, and department to help their events, purchase supplies, and more. To get more information about Íæż½ã½ãSGA Funding, contact us!

Free Scantrons and Blue Books
All Íæż½ã½ã students may obtain up to five free scantrons and/or blue books a day courtesy of the Student Government Association. Just swing by the University Center room 236-A to get yours today!
Volunteer Center
The Volunteer Center is a student-run program that plans volunteer opportunities and drives. We serve as the connection between volunteers, student groups, non-profits, and service providers. We work together to address New Orleans' social, environmental, and education needs by volunteering with various non-profits within the community.
Voter Registration
The Íæż½ã½ã provides several opportunities for all students to complete voter registration forms in conjunction with the 1998 Higher Education Act requiring all postsecondary institutions to make a good faith effort to distribute voter registration information to all students. Stop by the SGA Office or visit one of our tabling events to learn more about how to vote!
Problem Solving
Part of our duty as Íæż½ã½ãSGA is to help solve any Íæż½ã½ã related problem you may have.
